An investment strategy that intentionally excludes investments with ties to the fossil fuel industry. This typically includes exploration, extraction, refining, transportation, and sale of fossil fuels as well as energy production based on such fuels. The strategy may also be extended to include more indirect or peripheral participants in the fossil fuel industry.
